After years on the run, Charlotte murder suspect faces judge, held without bond

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man on the run for years, accused in a 2016 Charlotte murder, appeared in court on Monday, where a judge ordered that he be held without bond.

Alejandro Rosales Castillo had his first appearance at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse on Monday, Jan. 26. A public defender was appointed to represent him.

Castillo faces several felony charges, including first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping, and larceny of a motor vehicle.
