NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A rare sight is catching the attention of longtime Clarksville residents as extreme cold grips Middle Tennessee: parts of the Red River are partially frozen.
Many say the last time they remember seeing the river freeze was during the devastating ice storm of 1994 — an event that left thousands of homes without power for weeks and caught much of the region off guard.
