An Ohio man rang in the new year with a very lucky discovery.
John, of Powhatan Point, first purchased a Powerball ticket on Sept. 23, just a day before the next scheduled drawing, according to a news release from the Ohio Lottery.
However, after putting the ticket in his pocket, John completely forgot about it — and only rediscovered the ticket during the last week of the year…
