An Erie man accused of raping and twice impregnating a young girl awaits an appearance in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas after waiving on Jan. 23 the criminal charges he faces in the Erie police investigation.
Lavon E. Gray, 38, waived his preliminary hearing before Erie 5th Ward District Judge Paul Bizzarro on 29 criminal charges, including felony counts of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse. He remains in the Erie County Prison on $100,000 bond in the case.
