NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Albion residents are missing its homegrown grocery store as they choose between traveling far for food, or settling on buying from places with limited stock.
In terms of nutrition and variety, Central Noble Food Pantry is the closest thing Albion has to a grocery store for miles, ever since Albion Village Foods closed last January.
“It was so convenient,” said Albion Resident Jonathan Sieber. “You’re driving by it all the time. You pop in, you grab something for dinner. It’s definitely missed.”…
