This Day in History: Grain elevator explosion injured 9 workers in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A grain dust explosion rocked a grain elevator at Lamar Avenue and Airways Boulevard in Memphis, January 27, 1955.

The blast injured nine workers and caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.
