CAROLINA FOREST, S.C. (WBTW) — A new measure is in place to prevent wildfires in Carolina Forest, with burn ban notification signs now being distributed to homeowner associations throughout the community.
The Carolina Forest Civic Association is leading the initiative alongside South Carolina District 56 Rep. Tim McGinnis, who funded the signs so they could be provided to HOAs at no cost. The goal is to give residents an additional visual reminder when outdoor burning is prohibited.
