Maryland Mother Drops Infant From Window, Crawls Through Flames In Midnight Elkton Fire

The dramatic rescue unfolded in Elkton on Monday, Jan. 26, just after midnight, when a fire broke out inside a townhome on Thyme Street, officials said.

A mother and her infant son were asleep in an upstairs bedroom when the fire ignited, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office.
