Southern Textile Research Conference set for May in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Southern Textile Research Conference (STRC) will return this year with a focus on the integration of advanced materials, manufacturing technologies and digital intelligence across the textile industry.

The 2026 conference is scheduled for May 17–19 at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, bringing together industry leaders, suppliers, manufacturers and academic researchers from across the textile value chain.

Held under the theme “Integrating Materials, Machines, and Intelligence in Textiles,” the event will examine how emerging technologies are reshaping textile products and manufacturing processes. Planned discussion topics include innovations in material science, chemical processing, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing systems.
