Buffalo teen pleads guilty to 2024 shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo teenager pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the shooting of a victim in 2024, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.

On June 15, 2024, a group of young men approached the victim on Mapleridge Avenue. The juvenile offender, who was 14 years old at the time, fired several shots at the victim from an illegal handgun, officials said. The victim was transported to ECMC and continues to recover from his injury.
