INDIANAPOLIS — Schools and businesses throughout central Indiana have announced delays and closures for Wednesday morning as more frigid single-digit temperatures are expected to arrive.
An Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for central Indiana beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday as wind chill values are projected to drop to as low as -25 degrees. This follows a massive winter storm that Hoosiers are continuing to recover from after most of central Indiana was blanketed by nearly a foot of snow.
The bitterly cold temperatures led Indianapolis Public Schools to confirm that all classes will be on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday.
