HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Many locally owned businesses and restaurants in Hopkinsville have temporarily closed their doors since the winter storm came through on Saturday. While some big box stores, chain restaurants, and more centrally located businesses are starting to reopen as road conditions gradually improve, there are still several closures.
The following locations in Hopkinsville are closed as of Jan. 27, which may impact residents. It is suggested that people call ahead to businesses to check their status before attempting to drive.

Hopkinsville Solid Waste Enterprise remains closed, with route collections possibly resuming Wednesday. In a statement they said, “We ask that everyone on Monday and Tuesday routes place your containers out Wednesday morning. Everyone else please put your containers out as normal.
