When Pickle arrived at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton in Ohio, the staff were struck speechless by her condition. The tiny pup was terrified, barely responsive, and completely motionless.
She couldn’t move a muscle or even lift her head, and in that moment, it seemed like all hope had almost slipped away.
Pickle came in with two other dogs, believed to be her siblings. Holly Renee, a shelter technician, shared in an interview:
