Russ’ Restaurant providing free meals to plow drivers, emergency workers amid snowstorm

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A winter weather advisory remains in effect along Michigan’s western shoreline through January, and a Grand Rapids eatery is stepping up by offering free breakfast to emergency responders, plow drivers and tow trucks.

Lake effect snow pattern, driven by west-northwest winds, is delivering consistent snowfall to areas west of US-131. Residents in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, South Haven, Grand Haven and Holland should expect another 2-5 inches of accumulation daily for the next several days.
