Oak Ridge man charged after customers defrauded at Knoxville McDonald’s

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — An Oak Ridge man accused of defrauding customers while working at an area McDonald’s restaurant has been taken into police custody, Knoxville Police said Tuesday morning.

Around 10:09 a.m., KPD said detectives were attempting to find Briand Harrison, 19, of Oak Ridge. Just after 10:45 a.m., the department shared an update, saying Harrison had been taken into custody.

Harrison is charged with three counts of fraudulent use of a credit or debit card, identity theft and theft of property.

Anyone who knew where Harrison may have been was asked to contact the East Tennessee Valley Crimestoppers.
