The City of Pittsburgh has announced all trash and recycling collection has been suspended for the rest of the week, as crews continue to work on clearing the snow away.
“In addition to Public Works personnel continuing to focus on snow removal, large snow banks have accumulated throughout the city and windchills are expected to hit severely low temperatures during collection times,” the city said in a release.
