Mayor Evans: Rochester homicides down for 4th year in a row; more work needs to be done

Rochester Mayor Malik Evans held his first public safety update of the year on Tuesday.

The mayor and RPD Chief David Smith provided the latest data, saying homicides are down for the fourth year in a row. Their numbers show shooting incidents and homicides are both down by almost 60% since 2021.
