Authorities in the East Bay briefly sought the public’s help Monday after a toddler was found alone in an Antioch neighborhood early in the morning.
Officers with the Antioch Police Department said they located the child at about 6:30 a.m. in the 700 block of East 18th Street. The boy is believed to be about 2 years old and may respond to the first name “Isaiah,” according to police.
At the time he was found, the child was wearing a gray Nike hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police said he appeared unharmed and was being cared for by officers as they worked to reunite him with his family.
