A possible water main break sent water rushing into a Philadelphia street Tuesday afternoon as crews continued working to clear packed-down ice and snow.
The Philadelphia Water Department said a crew responded to the leak around 11 a.m. About 70 properties don’t have water right now, and a 6-inch water main was shut down, a spokesperson for the department said.
Crews are working to make repairs and turn the water back on as soon as possible. The water department is also treating streets and sidewalks affected by leaking water, the spokesperson said…
