MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Light Gas and Water is recommending that customers stop dripping faucets on Tuesday, now that temperatures are rising, to help maintain water system pressure.
MLGW said that when temperatures drop below 20 degrees for more than four hours, customers can resume the slow drip to prevent pipes from bursting.
