Amarillo Police respond to threats made at area charter schools Tuesday

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department reported that it responded to two bomb threats that were made at separate charter schools in the city Tuesday afternoon.

According to APD, at around 1:49 p.m. and 2:02 p.m., Amarillo police officers responded to bomb threats that were reported at two separate charter school locations in Amarillo.

Officials said parents and guardians of students at the schools were notified by school officials regarding pickup procedures.
