Albuquerque I-25 detours start Tuesday night as crews install 12 bridge beams

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Construction crews are preparing to place beams for the Montgomery Boulevard bridge widening over I-25. This will cause significant overnight closures for two nights this week.

Starting Tuesday night, northbound and southbound I-25 will be detoured near Montgomery Boulevard. Traffic will use the Pan American Frontage Road to re-enter the freeway.

Eastbound and westbound Montgomery Boulevard will close between Culture Drive and Northbound Pan American Frontage Road. Detours will route traffic through Comanche Road, Carlisle Boulevard, and Jefferson Street…
