Racially-charged markings reappear at North Las Vegas complex

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Residents at the Jasmine Ranch Condominiums in North Las Vegas tell 8 News Now they are frustrated after repeated incidents of vandalism that appear to be racially-charged.

Earlier this year, expletives were seen on the “do not enter” signs on the gate. The HOA told 8 News Now those writings were removed within 24 hours of us reaching out. Weeks following the removal, residents contacted 8 News Now to flag new vandalism.

“It feels like someone is trying to make a statement. The first time, yeah, we had the HOA take it down and remove it. And now they’re going to say ‘okay, we’re going to continue to do this,’” said one woman who lived at the condos, who asked to remain anonymous…
