January 27, 2026 — A single mother in Reno, struggling to make ends meet while caring for her three children, two of whom have disabilities, received a heartwarming surprise this month. Thanks to United Nissan Reno, Anna Romaro was gifted $3,100 to cover three months of rent, providing her with much-needed relief.
The dealership’s general manager, Karl Forman, joined the effort after learning about Anna’s situation through a friend who witnessed her relentless efforts to provide for her family. “She’s a single mom, she works all the time, and she’s always like at the bottom of the barrel trying to figure out how to get clothes or how much groceries she’s going to need for the month,” Christina Bell said.
United Nissan Reno was moved by Anna’s story, recognizing it as a reflection of the everyday struggles many families in the area face. “This is more of like an everyday, just kind of fell behind and needs a little bit of help situation.
