BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — One person was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries following a solo crash into a tree in the Rosedale area, said a Bakersfield police official.
According to police, the crash happened at 10:05 p.m. near the intersection of Calloway Drive and Olive Drive. Officers first arrived on scene five minutes later.
Photos from the scene show a crashed black sedan, debris and a part of a sheared tree.
The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time. It’s unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash…
