HOLLYWOOD, S.C. (WCBD) – An animal sanctuary is asking the public for information on who abandoned puppies in freezing conditions on the side of the road on Saturday night in Hollywood.
Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary is requesting the community’s help in holding the responsible party accountable after multiple puppies were left on the busy roadside near the sanctuary. They say tips are confidential.
Representatives of the sanctuary say volunteers and staff searched and found four puppies, only three of which were alive. One puppy had been struck by a vehicle and killed.
Later that night, a good Samaritan found a puppy wandering near the road, took it in overnight, and brought it to the sanctuary the next morning…
