For the second time in a week, an earthquake was recorded in South Carolina.
A 2.1 magnitude earthquake was confirmed near Elgin on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. That’s in Kershaw County, where more seismic activity has been recorded than any other spot in the Palmetto State since 2021.
