GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia lawmaker has introduced legislation that would allow parents to decide when their child first enrolls in kindergarten or first grade after concern from parents across Gwinnett County.
House Bill 1048 was officially filed this week, with the goal of giving families more flexibility, particularly those with children who have summer birthdays.
