CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Three California drug traffickers were sentenced for allegedly attempting to smuggle seven kilograms of methamphetamine and fentanyl through the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, according to the Department of Justice.
On August 1, 2023, 35-year-old Dericc Adams, 30-year-old Anthony Boyd, and 37-year-old David Stallworth took a flight from California to Charlotte, where they allegedly stuffed their checked luggage with meth and fentanyl.
