Snowfall expected in the Upstate this weekend

(WSPA) — The Upstate and western North Carolina regions could see some snowfall on Saturday.

Chief Meteorologist Malachi Rodgers said that no ice or freezing rain are expected.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), there is a 50% chance of snow after 8 p.m. Friday night, with a 40% chance of snow before 1 p.m. on Saturday

Snow totals ranging between 0.1″ and 3′ inches are possible.

Highs are expected to reach the teens and 20s across the Upstate and Mountains…
