HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – One of the family members who pleaded guilty in connection with a missing North Carolina man’s murder wants a new trial.
Payton Watts, along with his mother, Samantha Watts, pleaded guilty in July to murder in Corey Soles’ 2023 death.
A judge handed Payton a 35-year sentence.
