By Sara Beth Williams– — Citrus Heights police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to a credit card fraud case stemming from a locker theft at a local gym earlier this month.
According to police, an unknown suspect unlawfully entered Chuze Fitness, located at 5419 Sunrise Blvd., on Jan. 7, 2026. Investigators say the suspect broke into secured gym lockers inside the women’s locker room while a victim was attending a workout class. Cash and multiple credit and debit cards were allegedly stolen from the victim’s locker.
Police said one of the stolen debit cards were later used fraudulently at several locations throughout Sacramento County. At 8:06 p.m. the same day, the suspect allegedly used the card to purchase a $500 gift card at the CVS Pharmacy located at 8101 Greenback Ln. in Fair Oaks. Additional unauthorized transactions were later reported at various merchants, including an online retailer and a marijuana dispensary…
