Family and friends are remembering a beloved dance instructor who was killed after being struck by a driver at a Folsom light rail station.
On Monday, her father identified her as 22-year-old Elinor Peace Steffy, saying dance was part of her life from an early age. He said the loss is still difficult to understand. “I’ve tried to make some sort of sense of it and all that kind of stuff, but it’s kind of hard,” said Weems in tears.
