ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Freedom First’s Down by Downtown, a music and art festival, is returning to downtown Roanoke this spring. The event will span from April 16 to 19, with April 18 featuring legendary New Orleans group Galactic.
This headline event in Elmwood Park is designed as a mini-festival with gates opening at 4p.m. It serves as both a festival for the greater community and as an after-party for Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon runners, also set for April 18.
