Crews were actively removing equipment, furniture and other materials from Sharpened Iron Studios facilities Monday, Jan. 26, as the faith-based film production company vacated properties owned by Amarillo College under a court order.
This reporter observed ongoing move-out activity throughout the day at the leased buildings at 1314 S. Polk St. and adjacent spaces on South Tyler Street in downtown Amarillo. Workers loaded trucks and cleared interiors, indicating the studio was complying with a writ of possession that granted the college immediate control of the premises.
