OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – EMSA says its paramedics in Oklahoma City overall responded to an increase in weather-related emergencies during Oklahoma’s first winter storm.
According to EMSA officials, between Friday and Tuesday morning, crews responded to the following storm-related incidents:
- Carbon Monoxide Incidents: 3 calls, 0 transports
- Cold Exposure Emergencies: 37 calls, 26 transports
- Slip & Falls: 143 calls, 122 transports
- Traffic Accidents: 45 calls, 10 transports
