ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) – A 61-year-old Zachary woman accused of threatening Mayor David McDavid, previously served time for other threats.
During a court appearance on Tuesday, lawyers noted Patty Haley served three years in federal prison for threatening a judge. WAFB also learned Haley has a rap sheet in Arizona.
Haley was arrested in Biloxi, Mississippi to face active warrants issued by the Zachary Police Department.
The charges stem two separate reports of threats being made by Haley. According to police documents, the first threat was reported on May 20, 2024.
