A 7-year-old boy remains in the intensive care unit after a metal rod became lodged in his head in a Monday sledding accident at the SplashDown Waterpark in Manassas.
Vanessa Alas, a cousin of the boy’s mother, has established a GoFundMe for Zyan and his family as he recovers from successful surgery.
Zyan was sledding Monday with his sister, cousins, aunt and uncle when he collided with “a tank of some sort” on his final trip down the hill, resulting in a metal rod becoming lodged in the left side of his head, the GoFundMe said…
