JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A commercial vehicle crash has caused part of I-459 South to be closed Wednesday afternoon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash happened around 2:07 p.m. north of the I-20 interchange. Crews started to clean up. The ALEA did not have an estimated time for when the roadway will reopen.
