I-75 crash: GMC spins out, Peterbilt truck flips over

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A driver was cited after a semi vs. a vehicle crash left a semi on its side in Butler County on Tuesday morning.

According to the Hamilton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 10:45 a.m. on I-75 south near milemarker 18 in West Chester Twp.

The initial investigation found both a 2006 GMC Sierra, driven by a 39-year-old man from Centerville, and a 2013 Peterbilt 389 tanker, driven by a 27-year-old man from West Liberty, were heading south on 75.

Officials said the GMC lost control and spun out. The Peterbilt reportedly tried to avoid the GMC on the road by swerving to the left. The Peterbit then hit the GMC’s side and flipped over…
