GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Police have released the identity of a man accused of assault a teen in downtown Greenville.
The Greenville Police Department said 40-year-old Brian Stearns has been charged with assault and battery, second degree after being arrested on Saturday, Jan. 24.
Stearns is the founder and CEO of RingoFire and listed as an adjunct professor at Clemson University.
According to arrest warrants, the victim, a 15-year-old girl, notified officials of the assault on Jan. 17. She said that Stearns tried to take her by the arm as she crossed the street near North Main Street and Coffee Street…
