Dauphin County Commissioner open to ‘welcoming policy’ after Minneapolis ICE shooting

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Dauphin County Commissioner Justin Douglas said he’s open to discussing a “welcoming county policy” in response to community concerns about Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

During a meeting Wednesday morning, Douglas said residents have expressed “grief, fear and deep concern” over the ongoing ICE operation in Minneapolis, the death of Alex Pretti, and the possibility of a similar situation in Dauphin County.
