South Florida man accused of TJ Maxx credit card fraud scheme with victims in multiple states

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — A man is facing 17 felony charges after authorities said he and another suspect stole store-branded credit card information from more than a dozen victims in multiple states and went on spending sprees in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

According to an arrest report, the charges against Dancliff Labady, 32, of Miami Gardens, largely center on the use of stolen TJX Companies–branded credit card information to make purchases at its stores: T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies said Labady worked with a man named Gerome Douglas in the scheme, though it wasn’t immediately clear whether Douglas was in custody or facing charges Wednesday…
