ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) – The Elk Grove Police Department is shifting into high gear to address a growing safety concern involving e-bikes and scooters. In collaboration with the Elk Grove Unified School District, Elk Grove Police Department is launching a coordinated, two-pronged initiative aimed at reducing e-bike and scooter collisions as these devices become an increasingly common part of students’ daily commutes. The initiative comes in response to an increase in e-bike and scooter-related collisions as well as safety concerns near school campuses.
