CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Detectives with the Charleston Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for the shooting death of a man nearly six years ago.
Officers responded to a reported shooting at Flood Street in the Gadsden Green neighborhood on Dec. 22, 2020, at 4 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Malik Nelson, 24, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers rendered life-saving measures, but Nelson died at the scene.
