Central NY schools ranked 1 to 224 by new English language arts results

Syracuse, N.Y. — Three schools in Central New York saw 80% or more of their students test proficient last year on English language arts assessment tests.

The schools, Enders Road Elementary and Eagle Hill Middle in Fayetteville-Manlius and Tecumseh Elementary in Jamesville-DeWitt, had the highest three proficiency levels among over 200 schools in Central New York:

  1. Enders Road: 83%
  2. Eagle Hill: 82%
  3. Tecumseh: 80%

The state Department of Education released the latest math and ELA assessment scores for students in grades three through eight in December. The new batch of scores is from the 2024-2025 school year.
