CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man charged with murder in a deadly 2023 shooting is pleading guilty to a lesser charge, new court filings reveal.
Online court documents say Darnell Bays admitted to gunning down Michael Hodges Jr. in October 2023. Hodges was hit five times in the 2000 block of Wiley Boulevard Southwest.
