A popular Lake Caroline restaurant is looking for a new home after a new landlord has refused to continue their lease.
The property and building housing The Mermaid Café is being sold to an individual who does not plan to continue to rent the space to The Mermaid Café, Matt Taylor, owner and general manager of the restaurant, said in a social media post on Jan. 21, addressing rumors that the restaurant had been sold.
