LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Mail delivery in Arkansas has been temporarily suspended due to the recent winter storm.
An official with the United States Postal Service said local postal officials will continue to monitor conditions and make thoughtful decisions regarding processing, delivery, transportation and retail operations.
“The Postal Service is proud of the important role it plays in the communities it serves; however, the safety of our employees and customers remains one of our highest priorities. Currently, postal operations in Little Rock have been affected by the winter weather that moved into the area. Due to safety concerns, mail delivery was temporarily suspended to some residential and business customers, and may still be suspended in some areas,” a USPS official said.
