ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Rockford restaurant week is back again this year with some restaurants making their debut. The 11-day celebration is to showcase Rockford’s growing dining scene. See the full list of newly added restaurants below.
Harvey Wallbangers
Harvey Wallbangers is a neighborhood bar and restaurant in downtown Rockford. During restaurant week, they will be offering a three-course prix fixe for $40. You will get to select one appetizer, one soup or salad, and one entree.
Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe has been around for 50 years and is located inside the Hard Rock Casino Rockford. For restaurant week, they will be offering a burger meal for $16.95, including a Midway Burger, a side of fries, and a soft drink.
Chulo’s Tacos
Chulo’s Tacos offers authentic Mexican cuisine and is known for its hand-crafted tortillas. During restaurant week, they will be offering a bundle deal for $40. Included in this deal will be an entree, drink, appetizer, and dessert.
DiTullio’s Italian Market & Cafe
DiTullio’s Italian Market serves Italian delicacies and will be offering a $15 bund meal deal for restaurant week. Included in this deal is a sandwich, a side salad, and a dessert.
Hangry Joe’s
According to Hangry Joe’s, their Nashville Hot Chicken and wings are unrivaled in town. For restaurant week, they are offering a bundled meal deal for $12.99. You can choose one entree, waffle fries, and a drink.
HearthRock Cafe
HearthRock Cafe serves breakfast and lunch six days out of the week. HearthRock Cafe says they created a bundle meal for $19, offering a main dish, dessert, and drink.
Mi Placita Mexican Restaurant
The Mi Placita Mexican Restaurant said they offer an ‘ at-home’ dining experience. During restaurant week, they are offering a taco combo meal for $15.99, which includes three tacos, rice, beans, and a canned soda.
Marc’s Fusion Cafe
Marc’s Fusion Cafe has had its doors open since 2005 and serves Asian cuisine in a casual setting. For restaurant week, they will have some discounted items, including $9 crab rangoon, $7 Californina roll, $10 chicken fried rice, and $9 Mai Tai.
Sassy Mac Boys
Sassy Mac Boys serves up gourmet mac and cheese and says the idea came from a love of comfort food and community. Sassy Mac Boys will offer a bundled meal deal that includes one small mac and cheese, a side of cornbread, and a drink.
Swedish Pancake House
The Swedish Pancake House has served Rockford since 1997, offering a variety of Swedish pancakes, buttermilk pancakes, and waffles. During restaurant week, they will be serving up a breakfast and lunch meal deal for two for $25 to include an appetizer and entree.
Thai Jasmine Rice & Noodles
Thai Jasmine Rice & Noodles says they don’t take any shortcuts when it comes to food and service. Their restaurant menu includes a to-go favorites for $25 and a limited feature menu for $40, where you will get to select an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
The Parks: Cimino’s Kitchen
Cimino’s offers Italian food and is offering a specially priced menu for $25 per person during restaurant week. You will get to select a starter, an entree, and a dessert.
Tortacos Soto
During restaurant week, Tortacos Soto will offer a Go Rockford Burrito for $15. The Burrito comes with a salad, fries, and a drink.
Chick-fil-A – Rockford
For restaurant week, Chick-fil-A will offer three different family meal deals of your choice between $31-$35.
Yugen Authentic Japanese Restaurant
Yugen will be serving a three-course lunch meal for $25 that includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert during restaurant week.
Victory Pickleball Pub
Victory Pickleball Pub says its sauces are handmade and will be offering a dinner for two meal deal for $30. This deal includes one starter, two entrees, a dessert, and a free soft drink.
Brick’d Italian Kitchen
Brick’d Italian Kitchen is a pizzeria offering authentic brick oven pizzas. For restaurant week, Brick’d is offering a $16 dinner menu that comes with garlic breadsticks, house salad, and lasagna.
GreenFire Restaurant, Bar & Bakery
GreenFire is an American Restaurant that offers pizza, burgers, steaks, seafood, cakes, pies, and cupcakes, and is open until midnight every day. During restaurant week, they are offering a three-course tasting menu starting at $50 per person. This includes a drink, appetizer or salad, and dinner.
Culinary Underground
Located at Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront Culinary Underground said they offer a playful twist on classic comfort food. For restaurant week, the meal deal for $35 includes an appetizer and an entree.
I Luv K-Eats
I Luv K-Eats is asian cusine and offering a fixed price menu for $25 that will include your choice of one appetizer, entree, side, drink, and dessert.
Jammin Jerk Grill
Jammin Jerk Grill specializes in authentic jerk cuisine from the Caribbean. For restaurant week, they will be offering a chicken sandwich combo for $13 that includes fries, Jamaican rice or plantains, and a drink. They are also offering another deal for the jerk egg rolls, three for $20.
Sisters Thai Cafe
Sisters Thai Cafe serves Thai and Laotian food and is a locally owned business that is family-operated. Sister Thai Cafe is listed on GoRockford; no deals for the week have been submitted yet.
Restaurant week begins January 29 and will conclude February 8.
